A few links for youse.

Pardon the gap in blogging.  I've started a full time course at Uni to become a primary school teacher next year. I  went straight from working to studying full time as well as moving house, yadda, yadda, yadda... excuses.

The radio show is still going strong so don't for get to listen to 3CR on 855am in Melbourne or online at 3cr.org.au.

Shows are then podcast here a couple of days after airing and then a while later they are archived here.

You can subscribe to both those feeds on iTunes.

To the linkage...

Ant Sang is an NZ creator who has released a fine looking graphic novel 'Shaolin Burning' that i'm looking forward to reading and then having him on the program to talk about. Check it out.

Gee Hale is doing his bit for graphic novels in Australia. Looks interesting.

Mapping the Multiverse reviews Bruce Mutard's A Mind of Love. Part of the Big Arse comics launch that released 9 new books into our midst. I've got the original Street Smell issues somewhere but looking forward to reading the whole book myself. TheComicSpot co-host Bernard Caleo recommends it our our latest program.

Noncanonical is a comics podcast coming out of Melbourne focussing on the diamand distributed comics. (ie the tights and flights and genre books dominating in most comic shops - i still read em, that's not a put down - just an observation) Listen to them. They are fun. Larry's laugh crack's me up!

That'll do for now.

Ciao!

Glad to hear you're becoming a chalkie! Just remember, 'Don't Smile Before Easter' is both good advice for your first year, as well as a great title for the comic book diary that you'll publish about that first year. Bonne chance!

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to getting in the classroom and putting into practice some of the exciting ideas i've been haing during the lectures. Sometimes in spite of the lectures!
