Around the www in a few clicks.

Thought i'd share.

Filka posts some practice/progress pages. Not part of the graphic novel in progress but any way you look at it it's beautiful.

Last year the Abstract Comics anthology caught my eye and through it I discovered the blog Drawing Silence from Kiwi artist working under the name of DRAW.   There are some very intriguing works here that push the boundaries of what comics are. Here is a good place to start.

Bobby N catches Alternate Worlds pushing some local content. Well done to them and to Larry in paticular.

This Guh! strip for Jase Harper reminded me of another favourite read of 2010, Nate Neal's .The Sanctuary.

Mel Stringer has a new zine out and available for puchase. Back when I had money to buy some original art Mel was someone's I snapped up.

Maori Warrior + Pink Unicorns = Matt Emery.

For the latest episode of TheComicSpot featuring BMB, creator of Kranburn; and Tim McEwen talking about the Tides of Hope fundrasing comic put together by Supanova you can go here or subscribe to 3CR DIYArts on iTunes.

On the next edition of TheComicSpot on Thursday 14th April we'll be speaking to another Kiwi Ant Sang about his book Shaolin Burning. We might also have a couple of voices from Supanova Melbourne happening at the Showgrounds from 8-10 April.

I'l also be hunting down some more info on a Firedcat Comix thingo happening in Geelong. I'll get back to you on that one.
